Understandable.

I start Monday, so I have to wait to actually build up some cash before I make some purchases. Wanting to save up for F/R bumpers and make one big purchase at once and be done with it. Then 44a accessories will be shortly after since they aren't to expensive.

which bumpers you going with? custom ones? i would love to have one of LSRgregs front bumpers that he sells...

The LSR one is a sick bumper, but I don't think its sick enough for $1200. I think I'm going to go with the KMA bumpers. They are in ATL and I could drive there to pick them up to save a ton on shipping.

Front. I want this one minus the brush guard thing. Still deciding if I want a winch or not...

Yea, I'm pretty pumped. If I do end up going higher, just holler at me. I'll have a 2.5" BB to sell and a set of MX6 shocks that I'll probably let go for the cost of shipping if anyone would even want them. I'm still looking for a box for that track bar, so tough finding a tall skinny box to fit it in.

thats a great option to the LSR front bumper. im of the same opinion on the cost. it looks solid as hell, clean build and looks great but $1000-1200 plus shipping is severely stretching it imo. protofab has a rear bumper that is similar to the one posted, but again $1080.

The things I don't like about the ProtoFab ones are 1) the skid plate is for a stock gas tank (which I don't have) and 2) the tire sticks way out there. The main reasons I lifted the gas tank were for clearance and looking good when I put a rear bumper on.

Who seriously wants their rear end to look like this...



It just looks ridiculous if you don't raise the tank.

agree on the gas tank. that is one thing i want to do also like you did. thing scrapes all the time. thing is as problematic as a fat man trying to tie his shoes.

the tire does sit out a bit, since it's perpindicular to the bumper rather than sloped inwards. im sure it's a strength issue with the build. but the overall look isn't bad. this pic appears they redesigned it so it's cleaner looking.

yea that tire carrier looks like one of those ones you slide into your hitch...kma's are decent what about c4x4's?

Yea, I was wanting that one for a little while, but I can get the KMA for way cheaper. I really like C4x4's latch though. I don't like the C4x4 front bumper though. But right now I'm thinking I'll probably skip on the winch. Don't really see the need for it since I never wheel alone and have someone to yank me out if I get stuck.

I would go winch and not look back. Even if you never wheel alone, a winch is a great investment to have because there are times on the trail when a pull isn't enough or possible from where you are stuck. And you have a rear locker now so that will take you farther but that also means when you get stuck, you get stuck.

I know there were times in Arkansas where I was glad my buddies had winches because a pull out would not do the trick.

Just my 2 cents.
