I know, that game was ugly and we didn't deserve to win. But we did and Tennessee got hosed.

Its all good. I get hated on for rooting for the Big Ten teams in the bowl games. I really wanted Northwestern to win, but they didn't deserve it since they got like 3 trys to beat Auburn. Oh well. I'll be rooting for Iowa when they play.

Anyway, back to the build thread. I'm hoping to get the locker and truss tomorrow. I'll get pics of those plus the cake my girlfreind made me for my birthday since its Jeep related as well.

Got the truss in today. Its straight beef. I don't know when I'm going to put it on. Maybe when its warmer and not 20 out or if I could find a person with a heated shop.

I'm still waiting on the locker. I have no clue why its taking so long. I figured it would show up with the truss, but I guess not. I'll post up whenever I get it with a picture.

Something fun though. Here is the cake my girlfriend made me for my birthday a couple weeks ago. She said she couldn't find any WJs. Oh well. Its still cool, and it was good.

I love the fact that she put icing on the Jeeps to make them look muddy. Keeper for sure

Ok, I'm trying to pull the 44a right now and it's acting a fool. I'm getting real pissed at it. I'm at the point where I'm pulling the axles out of the tubes. I have a slide hammer bolted onto the studs and I swear those axles are never coming out. I have been putting all my strength into getting those axles out and they haven't budged an inch! Is there something I'm missing? On my D35, 3 hits with that slide hammer and the axle was out.

Help would be nice.

Daniel

correct me if im wrong but IIRC there are some D44a that have C Clips ... maybe that could be it IDK ..

What I did to remove mine (which was dangerous ) was that I bolted the rotor backwards to the axle then tied a tow rope on it then yanked the **** out of it .. you might even get a couple to people to help you .

I think the ZJ 44a have C-clips, not WJ 44a's.
