no clue on the mileage, I don't exactly have a speedometer at the moment haha. I have plans to do an SYE on the transfer case, hopefully I can slap a tone ring on the yoke when I do!

I'm betting the 4.0 would be more like 5mpg at that point. But it might be better on the highway, eh? You guys and your 'built' rigs. At least they no longer serve as your DD's... At least I hope.

Yes, it snows in Texas.

Both blues and ap are there DDs. And once you get your rig that big, mpgs really don't matter anymore.

All I wanna do is regear to 4.10 and go to 31's. Nothing so major. I say that now.

I do wonder what these two's highway ride is like in their Jeeps. 70mph anyone?

Haha thanks everyone! With the 35's I could pull 13+ out on a good day, probably around 10-11 in town. I don't think these will be that much different!

I think you actually might get jealous at my highway ride . I've been doing all the work I can lately to make it a tame wheeler, and I have to say I've been rather sucessful! I have a minor driveline vibe from the rear (pinion angle outta whack) around what I'd guess as 35ish MPH, but it drives pretty damn straight, and doesn't even have a brake pull.

I haven't been on the freeway with the Iroks yet, but I've had them over 60mph so far without the slightest vibration or shimmy from them. I'm actually almost to the point where I would be confident letting anyone drive my jeep on the street...except for the body roll LOL.

School starts next week, I'll be doin 20ish miles each way 5 days a week, 90% freeway. Should be a blast!

Saw you were selling your locker and gears for the rear axle, could I give you one of these until I could buy them in a couple months. They are just as good as money.

bahaha great movie.

If I still have them then, they are all yours! I think I'm going to be sticking with the front D44 for now, so I need some funding to beef it up a little lol.

So, I definately forgot to update this. my transmission is in explode mode, and my radiator failed mixing coolant and ATF.

What's behind door #1!? Strawberry milkshakes under the rad cap...who's thirsty!

SO. The jeep is in the garage with a hurt tranny and the front end torn off. I found a new radiator that's shorter than the stock one so I can have some fun with it and the front end of the jeep teehee. Short-term I'm going to try to save this transmission, long term...5 speed swap should be easy as pie right!? HAHAHA
