Off to my buddies shop with a busted brake line. Leaked all the brake fluid right out unfortunately as you can see from the huge puddle in the driveway. I know I should do it myself but im getting lazy.

You should get some extended brake lines while you're at it.

I had a brakeline fail in the mountains on a trail. At the campsite we were at there was a completely chopped newer Harley frame, no wheels, tires, tank, sea,t nothing! EXCEPT brake line! woot! Bolted right up and put some not fluid in it, bled it, and set home. That was pure luck!

So if I can change a line in the mountains, on a hillside, with a harley brakeline, you can sure as hell do it in your driveway next time.

Haha yeah yeah I know I kept telling myself just to get my *** up and go do it. I had plans of doing it, but after sitting on a boat fishing for 4 days my sunburn wasnt liking the concrete, and my buddy accidently navigated me to the wrong road on the way home and it took us 8 hours to get home from the keys Oh and did I mention it wasnt the little brake line too, it was the 12 foot long line that runs from the master cylinder up front all the way to the rear. I dunno about you but after a sunburned 8 hour drive home I wasnt ready to do **** Yes I know Im a big cry baby.

Nothing much has been done to the jeep lately. Its up for sale for 3,000 or best offer. Its not a bad price for someone that wants a lifted jeep with alot of new parts and no death wobble, here it is. Everything on the jeep is good except for the a/c. It works with a recharge but stinks. Needs the evap changed I guess?? Has a ton of new parts recently including new battery, all four door speakers, alpine digital ipone/ipod/usb/bluetooth/xm deck, new fuel assembly/pump installed by shop, new brake lines, rear hitch with two slide ins, one hook and one ball mount, front tow hooks, new brakes, good 32x11.50 bfgs, and some other things. Oil has always been changed at 3k and had mobil 1 syn 10w-30 every change. Doesnt overheat, burn oil, or smoke. Starts up everytime and drives like new. If interested send me a pm.

Finally got off my lazy butt to clean it and fix the check engine light. Ran the code for the check engine light and got a PO442. Went ahead and cleaned up some of the hoses running to the evap canister, purge solenoid, and made sure the gas cap was good. Unhooked the battery for awhile and cleared the code. Drove it around all day and the gas smell is gone after fill up, and the light hasnt come back on yet. So far so good!

I missed driving it. I've only had it out of the garage about once a week since we moved into the new house.

I think im gonna take all the rims off and repaint them too. And even though im still looking at selling it, I want to step up to some 33's and possibly new rims too soon. If anyone is interested in some 15x8 american racing rims with 32" bfg's let me know.

Well its time for another small build of the jeep. Rims and tires are sold, alpine digital player is sold, and on the way soon is a new set of rims, 33's, a new track bar, and a new tie rod. Probably gonna order the rims friday, then go haggle a a good price on a new set of bfg mud terrains in town. Cant wait to see the jeep with some new rims and 33's.

Started and completed my first big fix! I had to change both front ball joints on the jeep. Everything went well until the crappy autozone loner tool took a poop. Got another one from advanced and it worked great!. Anyways, no more popping noises when I turn now, and best of all I feel way more confident in doing other repairs since I know a little bit more about my jeep now.
