98 jeep sputters

A few days ago I started to have this problem. Sometimes when I start the jeep it takes a second or 2 to turn over, sometimes it turns over right.

As well all the time, noe ill drive a few hundred yards down the road and it will start sputtering. I can sometimes drive through it and it won't do it again until car is restarted. The other times I have to pull over and restart the jeep and hope it doesnt happen again or I can drive through it.

Its 98 grand jeep Cheroke, body has 240k miles engine has 150k.

Took it to a mechanic he said fuel injector and fuel pump need to be replaced.

sounds like a good diagnosis if he used a pressure gauge. if you doubt it, go get a loaner gauge from the parts store and check it yourself.
