Now I know there's been threads on this before, but this one can be east coast only to help on organization. Feel free to post any you find.

I have a list of about 40 in an Excel spreadsheet along with notes from phone conversations and email chains from just about all of them. Give me a bit and I'll throw it up here--I have to go through and see which are still for sale.

Part out. Engine seized and tranny is no good:

Looks good from 10 feet away. It's in a pretty bad part of Bmore, though.

Really good shape. Lot's of maintenance records.

Heres the one I looked at today. It's worth about $1500, sadly. It's been abused. Even the guy will tell you. It was creeping up in temp while idling. Electric fan was only cutting on low speed. Needs a lot of maintenance. Driver cv axle boot is cracking. Tail pipe was broke at the weld after the muffler. 1st gear had a shutter when getting on it hard. Limited slip was working well though. 2nd kinda felt like neutral when accelerating. Had a few vacuum leaks. I looked this thing over pretty well. On the bright side, the alternator charges good. No draws. Checked it with a multimeter.

I think I found one worthy of purchasing.... It does have 133k miles. But it looks like only 50k, inside, outside, and underneath.

Don't know if you're still looking. These two popped up recently. Both are overpriced, but you could probably talk them down.

$3,500:

Thanks, but I found my beauty. I went a different route. Gonna drop my 5.2L crate in it so it won't go unused.

I scooped it for $1800. Even better. The lift comes out to be around 2k, then the sway bar disconnects, then the arb bumper...then everything else, let's just say I got the better end of the deal.

Does it run? Or does it need that crate engine? Either way it sounds like a sweet deal!

Seeing Jeeps like this make me want a real purpose build off road ZJ. I can't wait to have a garage and a welder again. And a real beater ZJ that doesn't need to see DD duty.

She runs great! 145k on the clock. Guy bought it from NC, guess he didn't know what he had. It does need 4 shocks.

So I did purchase a Niner. 133k on the clock. Very clean exterior and interior. Just needs some attention to the suspension department. Shocks, stabilizer, and I may just replace the bushing all the way around since it will be up in the air. ALL the options works as they should, except the rear wiper. Then it just becomes a process of nickel and dime items until I get it to where I want it.

I have a 96 5.2 rear wiper that works just fine, it has the flip up glass too. So it'll work with yours. I'll pull it off my jeep and send it to ya for a small price, if you want it.

Nice! New shocks, steering linkage, and bushings will make it drive like a new car. There's a write up somewhere on rebuilding the rear wiper motor. What color is it?
