Haven't talked to him. Finally got my brothers jk running again after the fire. Otherwise I've just been shipping corn.

Jk caught on fire? That's not good. Haha. The guy I bought my zj off of has a 4door rubicon. And I always give him crap about real jeeps need to get out to disconnect there

His plastic fuel lines where either cut by a corn stalk, or leaves trapped on the crossmember where lit by the cat, then burned through the lines. Either way it destroyed a lot of **** before we got it out.

All the lines from the tank to the fuel rail, the fuel tank, many hours rebuilding the transmission electrical harness.

I have heard of a few JK fires, is it always the fuel lines?

I believe they have a transmission overheating problem as well.

Merry Christmas! I havent seen your build thread till now, got some good stuff in here!! My experience with air shocks (coming from a rock crawling focus) is they are very unpredictable compared to coilovers. This may be because I have not seen anyone run the right pressure or valving in the air shocks, who knows. My roommate had a set on his TJ in the rear and whenever he would take a turn the Jeep would stay pitched to that direction for a solid minute or two before it would begin to level out. Like I said I have no personal experience with them, but the consensus Ive found from everyone around me is coilovers > airshocks.
