When you live in the flats mud is really the only obstacle for it. Unfortunately it's also a vise for it lol. I'm hoping the irrigation tires make it unstoppable in a local mud run, but there will be no flexing or turning for that matter.

Are they awesome? Get your chit together so you can come up and ride in this pig. I should have the front suck down winch in for the run, and Jason is bending up more pipe to stiffen the rear, since it moved a little when I laid it on its side.

Suck down system mounted, oh **** bar reinforced, rear cage reinforced. Change out the Johnnys with some iro joints and I do believe I'm ready to rock.

Put 1000 miles on max this weekend pulling bruiser all over MN. 6 hour drive to Gilbert, about 30 mins of trail before my rear locker went out, started raining, and my cooling system quit. I think it's the thermostat, but she hit 265 on the way to the trailer on 4 cylinders tops. I thought I blew it up, but it purs like a kitten today. Figured out I'm back halving it before next outing. I'm going to move the springs in more, move the radiator to the far back, and make a new fuel cell that doesn't take up my whole bed.

Yeah man that was a ****ty day. Pat with the 5.9 blew up the spiders in the front of his and ****ed his exhaust, sam in the blue xj I was with backed into 2 trees, shane in the brown ZJ blew up his ARB and a shaft, jasons red xj snapped a shaft, that green zj buggy blew a tire and a whole bunch of other crap.

I am picking up my next xj soon, its getting an interior/exo hybrid cage, built HP30 and 8.8, 36s or 37s and run those til the axles explode, then I will look into tons.

I'd go 36 lol, or 31 with the luck I'm having. Did that green rig wreck a pit bull? That would suck. I'm going to look into rear coilovers or air, I hate limiting my flex to not drop coils. I'm watching it work, what do I need to change besides rear suspension, rear spool, and my obvious cooling problem that started out of nowhere? I'm also extending the roof back 6-8 inches. Rain runs right down the back passengers backs.

Yup he sliced a huge gash in the sidewall, he had talked about getting them vulcanized. Yeah after watching your rig, I think I would lower it a little, do you have a front locker?

Yea it has an air locker in the front, but with the rear driving occasionally it wasnt working like it normally does. My trans was slipping too, low fluid. I was thinking lower, but I already rock railed it a few times in the little time I had.

Yeah true but thats what theyre there for! Haha, I realized with my xj that low is the way to go for wheeling atleast from what I have seen. That yota we wheeled with was running around like 3-4" of lift and 38" swampers. I think on my next xj I am going to shoot for 4.5" and 37s.
