I would assume so haha and probably wouldn't pass the exhaust test at gilbert. Plus wouldn't that hurt back pressure?

It would be semi quiet with a 40 muffler. Just trying to figure out how to fit all this crap in such a tight space. Plus I wouldn't have to worry about smashing it if it was up front.

True idk I have never seen it done so I can't comment on that to much. Would block huggers even fit?

I'll know more today. Once the engine is in its final location I can figure it out. If nothing else I'll cut my manifolds and get through there with 2 in pipe.

Engine and trans mounts made. Started on the manifolds, don't laugh it's stupid tight, and I'm cheap. Lol. Air filter isn't completely mounted but you get the idea. Had a bit of a wiper throttle issue as well. That problem is solved by now I have a driver wiper. Lol.

You're a total pu$$y if it doesn't have exhaust stacks pointing straight up with a pair of clinkers

Truck is really coming together nicely. Well thought out, and very cool. Those doors look like they'd keep you well ventilated on the streets of connecticut.

Good luck with it.

Lol. No actually I'm a guy with 3 kids and like riding trails, not talking to game wardens. Thanks for the compliments. I'm a farm boy with lots of scrap iron, and my shop is 15 miles from steel, so I'm doing the most with what I have here lol. It's not the most trick, water jet cut custom build, but it's built, and If it breaks I'll make it better.

Need to pick up some exhaust tubing to tie it together. Finished my home made 241 clocking ring lol, I'm sweating like a pig from that job. Last pick is close to ride height as it will droop 9 more inches.

Maybe I missed it but are you planning on still running fenders and a front clip and hood or no?

Yes. It's just a lot easier working on everything with them off. I put the hood on again tonight. Next project is making it a cowl induction looking hood to clear the alternator and intake. Fenders will be the last thing to go back on, but they are one bolt and 2 rivets so that will be the easiest thing I've done on it lol.

Headed to Fargo. Decided I'm going to run copper pipe for the rear mount rad lines, should get rid of some heat, and then I can solder the corners instead of welding it all. Also picking up the exhaust pipe needed to piece this pig back together.
