i've been having loud brake noise since i left the forest, checked my rear pads today and only one side looks like this, the others are fine.

i drive 25 miles one way to work and this morning i got all the way to work, pulled into the parking lot (doing 1-2mph) making a sharp turn and as soon as i straightened out front passengers' side wheel just popped right off. after inspecting it, the factory studs just cut right off with the spacer still attached to the wheel, so they are usable again. and because i was going slow no additional damage to my rotor or axle.

had it towed and dropped off at tire kingdom while i went into work

TK won't work on vehicles w/ wheel spacers so just had them remove the front spacers for now. if i decide to take all off i can do the rears myself. what a rip off too...for an easy job i can do myself they charged $150 for the repair. but it wouldn't have been feasible for me to do in my driveway without a wheel.

i know i mentioned that when he showed up with that, but he told me it would have been difficult with no wheel to take off the flat bed and he put the tcase and tranny in neutral.

Wheel spacers are sketchy man. What brand are those? I've only heard good things about spidertrax... wouldn't trust anything else.

Good luck!

I understand I let them do it to my sport trac before. I have spidertraxs and I had the inner lugs come loose on a trip a few months back almost lost a wheel had to order a new set because the holes got worn to big. I guess spacers ib general are bad. Really need right sized bs on wheels.

these ar rough country. technically i don't need to run them i just have them cause my tires are too small for my lift and looks funny and got them for added stability.
