It's a Jeep, it's not supposed to work right all the time.

some from my trip yesterday. the a/t's did noticeable better off road (as expected), did pack a lot of mud in it's treads though.

good spot to take a break

i do have some new problems with the jeep, but none that'll prevent me from daily driving. somethings up with my transfer case..it will grind and clatter..happens only sometimes, but it still works for now. also i experienced my 1st death wobble, at least i believe i did. was doing about 55-60 on the highway, all of a sudden the whole jeep was violently shaking and making noise until i came to a complete stop...does that sound like dw? i looked underneath and everything looked fine. also hasn't done it again. there was a whistling noise in the engine bay, but checked it this morning and it wasn't there. also have 30 days to get a tail light, got a ticket for that.

If you had some mud in your rims, could be throwing it out of balance at highway speed. That would cause DW feeling.

Off balance tires could. But more then likely something is lose or worn in the suspension.

The tc noise could e from low fluid or even old fluid. When was it changed?

The noise under the hood is a good question.

Try swapping your reverse light socket with your running/brake light socket.

The tc noise could e from low fluid or even old fluid. When was it changed? i haven't since i owned it. i'll check that.

The noise under the hood is a good question. it was one of those things that came on after a hard day of wheeling, but haven't heard anything since.

Try swapping your reverse light socket with your running/brake light socket. i've done this before, just need to pick up a pair from the jy.

got dw today doing only 35

Check your wheels an make sure they are clean. If not then a tie rod is probably bad.

today i picked up an oem hitch for $50 and had my death wobble checked out. i need to change the driver's side inner tie rod ends, but prob will change all 4, and then an alignment. hopefully that'll fix everything.
