It's not a hard project if you have all of the parts and plenty of time. I'd rather have the donor vehicle nearby. Let us know how it goes!

i wil do and i will take lots of pics i dont think it shuld take too long the only "hard" thing will be cuting the hole for the sifter evrthing els is just time consuming as apose to hard and i had the guy who took it off to make shore it was in hi range so i can run it without the sifther if i dont have ehough time fo finish it but im hopeing for just a weekend

not if the axle came out of a zj, that was only a yj and early xj thing.

as for the hole in the floor. just get the trans tunnel pan from a 4x4 zj, it's like 12 bolts man and has all the mounting points and no screwing around with a sawzall.

I agree it isnt a hard swap to and you can do it in "stages" like my buddy did if its something you DD and cant have down long periods..
Way he did his was Front differential one weekend.
Next weekend tranny/transfer case, and the next weekend did his shifter mounting. I dont remember how he said he did his shifter. I think the hole was there just plugged off and sealed over from factory.
He only had one day off a week and it was his DD so his down time was minimal.
