...but i dont know about those 17's?...why'd you choose to go that big?

well thats the stock size (there are some stock 16" wheels tho..) They have to be that big to fit over the large break rotors.. some guys will grind down the calipers to fit 15's.. kinda debating that route...

okay here is a pic of the 4 link!! i'll post the install pics tonight.... and another pic from the side.. notice how level the jeep is, with the front lifted 1.5" inches bigger than the back

Yeah mine is a graphite Freedom edition...I park in the automotive building lot...

funny story... got out of class early on thursday. ha ha so i walked out to my jeep like 545 and as i am almost too it a graphite freedom edition (i think with a 2" bb pulls into a stall near mine. i said hi but he ignored me.. i realized your jeep was bigger tho.. and you park in a different place.. my jeep is parked at Parley's do it best (next door to traffalga) when not at school... let me know if you see me!

lol...Yeah I swung down there around 600 but you had already left...I do know where parleys is and will swing by

...

Funny how you posted the pics of your 4 link...I was just thinking of how you have 6 front and 4.5 and how level it is...Looks like they have the anti squat set pretty good...

yeah once the 4 link was installed, I could PUNCH IT... and my back end doesn't squat at all.. the jeep just point and shoots now! it's amazing.. and it drives so smooth

i got the package of parts. it includes the axle cradle and new lower LA mounts with an extra bracket that the upper LA's will mount to.

RockKrawler gave me the upgraded 4 link because i had trouble with their A-arm spacer (which they no longer sell

)

here is a pic of it bent/broke.. before it came off

and with it off still hooked to the A-arm

now it was time to prep the axle
we removed the brake lines and sway bar and sanded down the axle tubes for a good weld

here is the cradle that welds to the axle.. the upper long arms mount to it and run to the lower LA mounts

we welded in the supplied tie in plate for extra strength

now for the fun part... welding on the cradle

notice how my exhaust is cut off after the flowmaster and just hanging there... i haven't figured out how it will fit through the 4 link with out getting mangled off road. so i put a turn down on it that you can see in other pics

I waited for the welds to cool and then sprayed the cradle with 3M body undercoat.. that rubber stuff.. then we put in the upper long arms, after switching out the lower control arm mounts.

and the broken bracket once again

okay so i went to get my safety and emissions done today.. got turned away by the jeep friend who owns the place.. said i need mud flaps (gunna do a hitch mount one just for the test) and my turn down is illegal and needs to go out the back (he said he'd pass me if it came out the side)

So because of my 4 link, i had to go to a guy who would be "off-road flex" conscious about running my exhaust. I think we figured out a good line, but it required me getting a different muffler with centered inlet and offset outlet.

so i just ordered the Off-Road Flow master super 44 to replace my regular super 44.. The off-road one is made of 1/4" diamond plate. So I'm excited. should be here thursday!

But this isn't my DD so i could go extreme when i wheel.

Ha ha ya man, I always have liked yours and have wished I had a trailor queen to beat up offroad. I think I'm going two more inches, gears and tom woods drive shafts for jeep safari this year... Gotta just save a little More! Lol thanks for the comments!
