That's because the new backspacing on you wheels puts the tires under the fender more. The tire place for mine wouldn't even put my wheels on for me until i put the bb on (said i'd rip my bumper off lol...)

ha ha yeah i just dropped it from 40 to 30.. i think next time i might go to 20... i was real close once to popping my bead cause of the 17 rims (not much side wall) but i think 20 will be fine. but thanks! it's been a fun project.

ha ha thanks man! actually i didn't even know it did anything. but my friends (more experience jeepers) all knew it happened.. i just kinda laughed. i'm gunna use some bed liner and paint those rocker panels and then i'm welding up some rocksliders right now

i'm gunna try for some new pics soon!

Yea, you need to drop it some more. hell half the time I leave 30 psi in my jeep for DD'in it. I drop it to around 12 for wheelin. I would go less if I had beadlocks.

i would love to go less, but i don't think with the 17" rims, that my smaller side walls can handle it. and i think the km2's have a softer sidewall than your mt's, i'm not sure tho ha ha ha

They'll be fine lower, I ran my BFG AT's lower than that, and the sidewalls of the KM2's should be better than an AT.

ha ha true true.. i think i'll go 20 next time im in moab. plus i think the km2's were designed to be aired down so they grip/ wrap around rocks and stuff.. I never had a problem in moab with traction last time tho. only spun my tires a few times. backed up, and moab bump'd things. but sometimes spinning your tires is fun!
