hey guys, so to pass safety and emissions i had to put some mud flaps on the heep.. it sucks. so i fab'd up some mud flaps attached to some metal conduit and strapped them to my hitch under the fenders. i attached them by using some plumbers tape. it did the trick and now i've taken them off.. but i thought i'd post the pics up for anyone who needs this done. it was extremely easy

here are the mud flaps attached to the metal conduit

and the way that i strapped them up.

and a pic from the back.. they didn't look to bad.. ha ha

Hey guys, Today i finally got off my butt and did something to the jeep...

I used some 3M sanding blocks, an air sander, and 3m rubberized undercoating...

Here is the jeep before, i really have needed to do this cause of my smash that is starting to rust lol...

I started off by taping everything off..

I decided to tape it at the base of the little rubber trim for a clean line..

I sanded it... and sanded it, and sanded it...
Then i sprayed... i did two coats.. took one can total for both sides..

Here's when i pulled off the tape..

and up close.. i think the line i used was great. following the rubber strip lol...

I'm pleased with the results.. think it looks great. I'm worried the 3m stuff isn't going to hold up tho.. (i rubbed part of it off getting out of it 2 hours later, maybe it's not all the way hard) but it was easy...
here are some before and after pics...
