Yes, dont wheel with your sway bar on, youll end up busting up your links like I did... twice. I dont have a problem with brake lines at my lift height, youll be fine.

Pics looks good though, i like me a flexin red ZJ

haha moony i LOVE red flexing ZJ's....i need sliders bad though, i hit the drivers side pinch weld pretty bad and it dented the rocker pretty good. You cant see it as its under the plastic cover but underneath that plastic is all rust. Im afraid of bolting sliders to the pinch seam it might all fall apart on me.

Moony how is your design holding up? do you think i can use that same design for some protection?

It looks as though you need some more lift in the rear. Isn't that IRO kit meant to be used with V8 coils? Or maybe its cause your coils were damaged.

well from what I understand the IRO F>R is a 3.5" measured for a V8. In the front I measure 4.5" lift over the stock 18" and in the rear I measure exactly 3" from the stock 18".

well yesterday was an amazing junkyard day:

new steering box: $30.00
all new vacuum lines: free
new cruise control servo: $5.00
tail light guards: $25.00
bug deflector: free

and today put on the new vacuum lines with cruise control servo and cruise control works again ( i haven't had cruise for 2-3 years) and with the new vacuum lines i have my temperature control back cool when i want and hot when i want

bug deflector was installed and the tail light guards are from mercury mountaineer and they fit pretty dam good on the ZJ but i have to do some minor modification to make them more 4x4 duty then decoration.

all in all a good weekend...pics to follow

and if anyone cares i changed a fuel pump/sending unit in my gfs Impala.

Like the build so far.

Have a question...Did you get a rear track bar when you put the front springs back there?

trimming the front bumper was super easy, sawsall and a die grinder to clean up the edges.\

but im ending my ZJ life here.....

about a month and a half ago I got hit n run, no witness, no note, and it was written off. I know it doesnt look like much damage but underneath all that plastic was rust and they got me on it $4000 damage so I salvaged my 242, lift kit, tires and some other small things like fog lights and wiring harness etc. that I will install in the 1991 Cherokee that is rotting away in my yard.

the new DD is:

2007 GMC Sierra SLE

its been a great run and i will still stop by time to time but it wont be the same
