2014 Grand Cherokee HIDs

I just bought a 2014 Grand Cherokee 4x4 Laredo. I know that HIDs are already installed in the vehicle but can I take out my current headlights and just replace the bulb with a 10k hid bulb? (I'm wanting to change the color of the headlights) This way I don't have to worry about wiring harnesses.

Even with oem hid systems, you can change out the hid bulb for one with higher or lower kelvin.
