2014 GC Laredo Leather Care

Hi. Anyone know if the 2014 Grand Cherokee Laredo's come with treated leather? Like that urethane covering on it? I just got my new Laredo and want to start off taking care of the leather right. I cleaned and conditioned using lexol, however at the final wipedown after conditioning some portions of the leather the microfiber towel was sticking to pretty bad... not sure if that meant I had too much conditioner or not enough or what.

Then I'm reading about how leather is treated with this clear coat on top, so basically my conditioner probably didn't do anything, and I should wash the leather with Murphy's oil or Woolite to remove the clear coat, and THEN condition?

Am I understanding all this correctly? Mainly want to know if the 2014 Laredo leather is treated....
