2011 grand cherokee larger tires capability

I am new to this forum, but have always been a jeep lover since my first jeep, 1987 jeep wrangler inline six 258. I currently have a 2011 jeep grand cherokee overland with 265 50 20 tires. i would like to go to the 18 inch factory wheel that was part of the off road package in 2011. My dilema is that i want bf goodrich all terrains tko's. the only size in 18 available is 265 65 18, which is 32 inches tall vs the current 31". My question to you all is will these work, or will this interfere with abs, tire pressure monitor system, suspension etc. The other option is 265 65 17 on 17 inch wheels, but most 17 inch wheels are 7 inches wide, as far as jeep factor wheels are concerned. Will these bfg tko's hum on the highway?.

Welcome to JF.

Please post this in the WK Grand Cherokee and XK Commander support forum (what you have) found here:

http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f67/

You should get your answer there. Also, check out the stickies in that section. The info you seek may be in there. Fill in your profile, too (works best from a full browser), tells us all about your Jeep.

This forum is for account/site/app issues, suggestions, and questions only.

Enjoy!
