Bought my first Jeep WJ in July 2011, haven't done much to it yet but have some good plans ill post later. I love the sleek and aggressive look of the WJ. After thinking about what I wanted to do with it as a project I thought how can I make it have more Freedom in it. So with sticking with the original look of the WJ this thread is about turning my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Freedom Edition into my own work that will be the DevilDog Edition.
Enjoy and I'm open to suggestions within reason.
These pictures are of when I first picked it up in July.
CB radio with Fire Stick antenna and PA System
Subs and amp
Off road lights behind the Grille and by the side view mirrors
Skid plate transfer case
Tail light black outs
Skid plate front suspension
New speakers(old ones are shot on the passenger side)
Head light restoration
Remove air box noise reducer
3 Fog lights behind the grille
Dual steering stabilizers
1.5 Wheel spacers
Bigger and new all terrain tires
Spartan Mechanical Locker- rear Dana 35
Change diff fluids
will post pictures of final and how to for installation
hella clean! especially for a black vehicle (shows marks in reflection more than anything)
get a lift on that ASAP.
IMO, for your list of mods, you don't need a dual stabilizer.
and whaaa?? you gonna lock your turdy5? what kind of wheeling and how heavy is your foot while off roading? the 35 isn't the strongest axle that can support abuse, especially when locked. better off locking the front.

That thing is beautiful. A little lift on that will be nice IMO
Thanks, yeah very few scratches and one stupid door ding from the last owner. Getting some tires with the lift in the winter and probably the locker too. Not sure what tires though. Wanna get a pair of all terrains since its still my DD. Leaning towards BFG AT but I loved my old Cooper Discoverer ATR's, had those on my land rover; worked great. Might have a poll in November for it
