2001 WJ with Kolak's help

Finally got my "mini-lift" and tires and wheels fully installed last night. I didn't want the 2.5" to 3" that most kits seem to give, so Kolak worked with me to dial in what I was looking for. I love the finished (for now) product, and couldn't ask for a better guide than Nick (Kolak) to get me here.

OEM Jeep Up Country springs at all four corners
3/4" Spacer up front
OME 10mm spacer in the rear
Bilstein 5100 shocks
Moog steering stab

This combo gave me 1.25" of lift up front, and 2" in the rear. I like having a little bit of a rake (to make up for gear when out on the trail, and the dirtbike I haul on a hitch receiver), but might need to find a way to level it out a tiny bit more. Who makes a 1" spacer for the front???

I got the tire and wheels mounted late last night (2013 Rubicon wheels and Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac (245/70/17's)), and wanted to share some pics.

I love the look of the lift, and those new wheels give a much more aggressive look to my WJ! Here's to 218k miles and counting.

Looks good with the JK wheels! How is the ride with the E load duratracs? I think it sits nice how it is, especially since you tow a bike.

Man, those wheels look *****in on that thing. I love how the lighter silver on them matches the body color.

Thanks for the kind words guys! I've loved this thing since day one, and at 218k miles, while it still runs strong, it is beginning to go through some oil. I will search the forum later on what guys are doing with their older 4.7's (rebuild, replace or ?), but if anyone reading has a thought, please do share.
Shocks: I haven't put much time on the tires or shocks yet, but I can tell you that the 5100's always get rave reviews (regardless of the website). At less than 100 miles, so far they're great.
Tires... I went from a 16" Duratrac Load Rate C, to a 17" Duratrac Load Rate E. Not sure I can tell any difference, but again, not alot of miles on the rig yet. I can say I LOVE the Duratracs, both for the aggressive look, as well as the off road performance. The guys at Discount Tire said something about the tire itself is considered a traction device over passes (so no chains), but that can't be right. I've got to go back to get my spare replaced, and will ask them to clarify.

Last part that I forgot to share that I replaced was ISOLATORS all the way around (8). I was skeptical at first, but my Jeep Guidance Counselors (Kolak and Billzcat) convinced me to do it, and I'm super happy I did. I've got a gang of miles on my Jeep, but you'd never know it, even with the mini-lift that I did. Rides like a champ, and looks forward to gobblin up potholes with ease.

Come spring time when all the JK guys are getting new setups you could probably find a good deal on craigslist. The dealership would probably want way too much for them. Do you guys think they would look good on my red dub? Poser shot-
