And the other side.

I ended up partially welding them for a little added support.

I'm going to move the axle forward another 1/2" to an 1" to help clear the back of the fender wells at full turn and flex. Gotta clearance the differential a little bit at the bracket and then I'll be able to use the next set of holes on my brackets.

My limiting straps are in the mail too, I'll mount those up before the first trip out this week. Going with straps on the corners, the rears I'm going to mount to the shock bolts, the fronts I'm going to make a bracket. 24" in the front with how I'm going to mount the bracket and 27" in the rear.

Looks good. How far forward will your axle be from stock? I couldn't go much further with mine cause of the steering. Even with a steeper pitman arm.

Not sure. I can always move the drag link to the aft hole of the high steer arm if I need to. I think it can go forward a little more and be OK.

I'm curious about the limiting straps... Will they stop the flex before the springs unseat? Or are you limiting it so that you don't have to worry about retainers?

I'm also curious if you did anything with the ebrake cables, when I first started flexing the rear my cables would be holding the axel up, now it's the rear sway bar if its attached

I'm using the limiting straps to limit down travel just prior to the coil unseating/shock fully extending. You don't want your shocks to be what limits travel, it causes premature wear and if the coil unseats you have no weight on that tire anyway so its doing you no good, the locker is pushing you at that point on one tire.

I'm running lower coil retainers on all 4 corners in the form of a circular plate that is bolted to the axle.

As far as ebrake cables they aren't hooked up at the moment because I'm still trying to source the caddy ebrake hardware for the El Dorado calipers I have in the rear. So far its either junkyard hopping or ordering 300+ dollar calipers that come with new hardware.

Yeah, the rocker clearance isn't great even with 37's and 7" of suspension.

My YJ on 35s may have had more clearance at the tcase skid that I have at my rockers now.

I was going to ask the same question.

How did you measure for the straps? Just drop the suspension down till the springs are loose then up a little?

Do you have any pictures of how those sliders are mounted? I am wanting to build some but have not seen any way to mount them that i am crazy about. Is the main tube 2x3? This is a great looking jeep. It makes me want one this color. Keep up the good work.

Got the diff clearanced inside of my LCA bracket on the driver side and got the arms up into the next highest hole, moved the axle forward about 1/2-3/4".

I believe this should keep the tires out of the inner fenders under flex with the wheels turned, we will find out this weekend.

Also got the rear limiting straps mounted up, will do the fronts tomorrow or Friday.
