I'm still holding it for you, but yes, you're welcome to stop by and have a beer regardless.

And regarding the in-laws, my wife is of the same opinion as me, thankfully.

Discount used stick on wheel weights, some of which have already fallen off without putting any miles on them. Going to try some internally ballancing media I think.

Yeah, this is my second set of this version of the MTR, had a set of 35s on my YJ. I've run 2 sets of the old style on various rigs also.

I have 8 golf balls in each of my 42s.. They run smooth but im wondering if they would have been fine without the balancing balls.

After some more thought, I ordered some balancing beads, will give them a try and see what I think.

Thanks for reminding me, when the weights started falling off as I was mounting the tires the the Jeep I decided I'd try some internal balancing and since forgot about it.

Why not take them to a tire shop and have them balanced?

Because they'll just use more stick on weights that'll end up coming off. The lip clip on weights work a little better but get damaged/thrown off road sometimes, the ones on my YJ were all gouged up and missing pieces from the rocks.

Just going to try something different this time.

This looks way taller than mine. What are your hub to fender measurements front and rear?

We just measured the front of mine yesterday and its about 26". But it needs to go up an inch or so to level out. Can't remember the rear right now.

Ordered some hangers/clamps/exhaust **** this morning. I mounted up the Flowmaster 70 and got it clearing the rear arms. I'm just going to do a turn down for now, I'd really like to route it out the back eventually, but this will get me rolling until I gonk out how to make that happen.

Also ordered my steering stabilizer, went with the MOOG trail boss. Got one of these Ballistic Fab tube clamps and am going to modify this shock tab I had and weld it to the tube clamp to mount the stabilizer on the tie rod.

More work:

Trimmed bumper:

I'm debating running the spacers up front, I like the little bit of extra uptravel potential, but we will see how stable it feels, very easy to pull them if I decide to.
