I think you should paint all the clading and bumpers black then black out the tsi rims but leave the lip polishd!

Dude, that is a genius idea about the rims! I am definitely going to do that.

Yep, I am gonna do the cladding and bumper covers with Krylon Fusion Black, I might do that this weekend. I am also going to clean the underside (frame, undercarriage, unibody, etc....) Also gotta fix that oil leak in the distributor, lol. The list goes on and on :P

EDIT: also gotta paint the grill black.........looks like im gonna need a LOT of black paint

Why clean the underside or fix the oil leak?

the oil just keeps everything from rusting and makes it so you dont have to lube any bolts when you goto lift it! lol

im not sure why but i really like the tsi rims. itl look sick one you black the whole thing out!

Haha, I wanna clean the underside cause I like to keep things clean. I wanna fix the oil leak cause I hate having to worry about getting oil on the driveway, and cause its not exactly a small oil leak, lol.

Yep, I am definitely going for the blacked out look with small touches of silver. Whenever I get around to going to the junkyard I am going to see if I can find any clear corners.

The TSI rims are definitely growing on me, I wasn't so crazy about them at first, but now I really like them. I might take a picture of one and ask the photoshop thread to black it out, except for that lip. I think it would look really cool, props to a you for a great idea HeavyArms!

I'll probably prime the bumper later today, and paint it black with Rustoleum tomorrow.

Realized today that I do NOT have a CV joint front driveshaft! Does this mean that someone already swapped them out? Hey, I am happy, all I know is that CV joints break. One less thing I have to do in the future.

Well, did some stuff on the jeep today. I cleaned the headlights, and I sanded down the grill (gonna paint it black soon) Now the grill is a cool "gunmetal" ish color, lol. I hated that plastic chrome look.

As usual I took pics

And this is pic i am gonna get the rim photoshoped black:

That'll look really nice man... I'd keep the silver too. Can always black it out later if you want.
