1996 MAP sensor Cleanable?

I know in many Injected cars you can clean the Sensing wires inside the Mass Air flow sensor/ Air Mass Monitor, whatever you want to call it.
Can you do this on the '96 Cherokee 6 cyl?

Car idles badly, was recently tuned (plugs wires) but still runs crappy.

i've never had good luck cleaning maf's before.

that said, the map sensor is a lot different. it uses a diaphragm to determine manifold vacuum.

'97 zj 5.2, some stuff, some other suff, and some things that even work sometimes.
