06 Grand Cherokee 2wd ESP BAS ABS and Traction Control lights always on, not shifting

All of a sudden during normal driving all these lights came on. also auto trans shifts sometimes other times not. Tried cleaning the TCM but didn't help. I have checked for codes the only time I got any was after I put the TCM back together they were P0700 and U0404 which relate back to the TCM.I reset them and never had any codes since but the problems remain. ESP, BAS, ABS and Traction Control on constantly even when the tranny shifts ok. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hey rickcinva,

I am sorry to hear about your recent experience with your Grand Cherokee. I could not find any related service bulletins to the referenced DTCs. I would advise you to have the vehicle formally diagnosed at a certified FCA dealership. Please private message me if you have any further questions.

Hey rickcinva,

Always happy to help any customer with a question. A certified FCA dealership should be able to diagnose your concern.

I bought an 06 Commander that had the same problem with the dash lights. I did not have the transmission issue.

My steering wheel was very slightly off center and the tires were completely worn. After new tires and recentering the steering wheel ALL lights have been resolved.

Not sure if it was your problem but it solved mine.

Yea, the tranny issue bugs me; almost to the point that I'm leaning toward the TCM (transmission control module) but I don't want to fork out that much cash without knowing for sure. The wife said she did some sudden braking on a wet road yesterday and the lights all went off but returned shortly afterwards. Strange.
