Wont go into 4wd 92 wrangler

i was out the other weekend messin around and got stuck and shure enough my 4wd was not working. iv heard it could be a vacuum hose that runs from the transfer case but dont know how to check it. is there anything else i should check out while im down there? thanks

Start reading here in this thread. It's about 1/2 down in the post that I'm linking you to. It's from the YJ Tec Forum FAQ section. It will tell you how to test & repair the vacuum disconnect system.

wow max that pretty much explained everthing. thanks
one thing though how would i check and know whats wrong with the vacuum system?
