Who in the World Makes replacement Chevy K10 Caliper Mounting Brackets?

Well, I have quite a problem. I'm getting ready to swap a HP D44 into the TJ, and before I do so, I'm changing it to a 5 on 5.5 bolt pattern. The only part I need to complete this is the brake caliper mounting bracket off of an 84 (or equivalent) Chevy K10. I've been looking all over the area at junkyards, napa and such to try and find one, but can't! All of the junkyard ones are rusted beyond use, and I can't find an aftermarket one on any websites, at napa or anywhere!

Does anyone know if they make the part I need, or am I just going to have to keep waiting for a junkyard one?

PS, I already have everything for this brake setup, so I really don't want to change the plan at this point. All I need is the stupid bracket!

i dont think you will find new one's. but http://www.speedwaymotors.com/GM-Wel...kets,3348.html
maybe you could drill your 6 bolt stud pattern on some 1/4" and weld those to the speedway brakcets to the flange's you drilled.

Thanks Jason, that might be what I have to do in a week or so here. The guy at Napa suggested the chevy stealership might have them, and/or I'll call a few more junkyards and cross my fingers. I'd really like to end up with a bolt on solution to this, as I don't really want any fabricated parts in the brake system.

im certon there has to be a ten bolt axle somware withen your area. i used to cut the brackets up and weld them onto to axle's for disc brake conversions.
now i get the weld on one's. but as far as welding brackets together, done right and its no biggie. i did a set for a buggy, he wanted a 1/2 brake set-up insteed of the one ton crap. so i cut flange's for the bolt pattern and welded a set of ruffstuff brackets on
. no problems to date

I'll keep looking, but every one that I've found thus far has been rusted to hell. I'm up in the rust belt in Ohio, so it makes sense that an 84 axle part might be hard to find in good shape.

Ok, so I found some caliper brackets today (finally,) at a pick n pull 45 minutes away, went and pulled them, and although they're quite rusted, I think they'll still work. The bracket itself is in good shape, but the dust shield is essentially gone, along with the rust shield for the 6 mounting bolts. Other than that, I'll get it cleaned up and test fit everything to the axle to make sure it's the right one.

Edit: Oh, and whoever the last mechanic to work on the truck was, I want to be his friend. Anti-seize = best thing ever.
