I found a nunber inside tranny that number is 107021 is it still a ba10?

The BA10 is a "sandwich" transmission. Usual swap-out is an AX15, a "tunnel" transmission.

AX15 has NO numbers anywhere on the case except a stamped serial number on at the rear. They SOMETIMES do have a glued-on tag with the Jeep part number on it. Serial numbers are meaningless for ID purposes.
