what are the 5.2 engine differences?
Does anyone know the differences in the 5.2 from a 1995 1500 dodge ram and a 1996 Grand Cherokee.
does one make more power then the other?

5.2 mopar
According to the people that I asked- the long blocks are the same.You may need to change intake,sensors,oil pan and pickup, exhaust manifolds.But the rest should be the same, including performance.

I was told tht the engin in the 1500 pickup makes more power.

That is also supposedly the case with the 5.7 engines in the 1500 and the Dakota

I know a guy that had the 5.7 Magnum in a Dakota and he said it didn't put out as much power as the 5.7 magnum in the 1500 full size truck
