I want to replace my stock Carterbbd carb .I have decided on a Weber kit but----which one? Please advise on which would be better on my stock 82 cj-258, the 32/36 or the 38 and why would you use it THANKS I also have a Holly from a chev 292 6cyl. would that work on my 258??THANKS
If you plan on keeping the 258 stock, no headder, no aftermarket intake, etc., go with the Weber 32/36. You will get a little better gas mileage with it than the 38/38. If you plan on adding a headder, intake, cam, etc., get the 38/38. The 38/38 will perform better with the other performance parts installed.
Don't know much about the Holly.
