Water in Gearbox

Hey guys,
i've got a bit of a weird problem. For some reason my gearbox keeps getting water inside it. It also seems that when it rains, there's water dripping down days after by the gearbox skidplate. Any ideas????

Mine is a '99 TJ sport manual.

cheers guys

so are u draining your trans every time it rains? Otherwise...how do u know there's water in there? maybe it's condensation from either the A.C or from the exhaust?
