Water in Gearbox

Hey guys,
i've got a bit of a weird problem. For some reason my gearbox keeps getting water inside it. It also seems that when it rains, there's water dripping down days after by the gearbox skidplate. Any ideas????

Mine is a '99 TJ sport manual.

cheers guys

Bjorn
