Used dana 35 question

I you guys think there's a big difference in say a 99 dana 35 3.07 with 112000 on and a 98 same axle with 70000 miles on. The first one is 200 the second is 500

Both of them are overpriced. A D35 with 3.07s is worth scrap value minus the cost of paying someone to haul it away for you.

Problem is I can't find anything around here. I'd like to upgrade but not for prices I've seen

So if I found say a front and rear with the same gears, I'd be in luck

How long did yours last? Subtract the mileage from your original to get an idea of how long the replacement might last. Are there any drivetrain mods, large tires or abuse that killed the first one?

If it was mine I think Id get the better one if it had a warranty. If none the cheaper one. It can be sold when you up grade if still in good shape. How long on 33s?

The 33's that came on it were at about 75% tread, so I'd say at least 4 years or so.

The only places that have a warranty are the junk yards and they want 900+

That's insane. Rear axles are 140 at pull a part here

Good lord that's as much as a new jeep.
What model is your jeep? I can get you 2 axles with better gears and ship them to you for less than 900.

I have a D35 with 3.07 gears non-abs. I will sell it for it $100. But I am in Michigan between Detroit and Toledo, OH. If your interested. It has about 215,000 miles w/ new spider gears. It works fine no leaks. I just recently upgraded to a 8.8 rather than re-gearing the D35.
