upgrade distr. coil on 151 Iron Puke?

I know what you're thinking: "Forget the coil, you need to upgrade your engine." But that's not an option right now. If I could get 10 more HP out of the puke, I"d be satisfied for the time being. As part of that plan, I'm thinking about sticking a more powerful coil on top of the distributor.

But I don't know sh$# about coils. How many volts (ballpark) would a stock coil for an engine like mine put out? I'm leaning toward Accel's "Brute Thunder" in-cap coil w/ 48k volts. Would I be likely to see any improvement in performance?

No coil upgrade is going to give you a 10HP increase. No way, no how.
