Turning Issues

My 2000 Jeep Cherokee has resistance in the steering wheel after I take it out of 4wd part time. Could the Trac-lok be a part of this?

How long after taking it out of 4wd? The shift in the TC isn't instantaneous. It sometimes takes a few seconds rolling down the road for it shift.

I don't believe your XJ has Trac Lok in the front unless you or a prior owner added it.
