Transmission help

Guy's sorry for being a noob, im relatively new to jeeps. I have a 94 Grand Cherokee and I dont know how good the tranny is on it. Now it shifts kind of hard and abrupt, I think its fine and just needs to be flushed, but my old Jeep Cherokee used to do the same thing. Is it just a Jeep thing, as far as automatics go?

Yea, I checked the fluid and its clean, the guy before me replaced the rear seal so Im guessing he changed the fluid. It also feels like it drags out the gears, although always shifts at 2500, I imagine its just an SUV thing.
