Torque specs for valve cover

I cant find these in the Haynes book. Do they exist, or do I just tighten them as much as possible.

Don't do them as tight as possible, or you'll be getting a new gasket in about an hour. 28 worked great for me, just make sure to tighten each bolt little by little.
any other questions about it just ask, i just replaced mine.

ps..while you have the cover off, take off the metal pieces that lead up to the pcv valves and clean the gunk out of there.

Thanks,

What does that translate to in ft lbs. I dont wanna hafta buy another wrench. Is there an easy formula for that? Its been a while since I did any math more complex than helping my first grader with the basics.

Do I simply divide/multiply by 12 appropriately?

Thanks
