I need to replace my slipping 93 TF999 that is in my 93 4.0 YJ. I am having a very hard time finding a YJ TF999 transmission but I've found a couple pre 2001 TJ 3 speed TF999's. Now my YJ trans is non lockup and the TJ TF999's are lockup but I figured if it will work with my jeep I can just run a toggle switch to the lockup...

Let me know if the TJ TF999 will work in my YJ because I can't find anything for a Yj.

You should be good to yank any auto trans out of a tj, the 4.0 controls the shift and since your yj has a 4.0 your good to go
