t4 to t176

Will the input shaft from the t4 swap out with the t176? The input shaft on my t176 measure 6 3/8" but Novak says it should measure 7 1/2". It just so happens that I need that 1 1/8", according to everything I've read, and my t4 that I'm replacing has the 7 1/2". Any help please??

The question is not how far. The question is, do you possess the constitution, the depth of faith, to go as far as needed?

They both have 23 spline output shaft and 7 1/2" input shaft with 1 1/8" x 10 splines. I only know what I read. Learning as I go so some assistance would be greatly appreciated.
