I'm hoping to get some insight on parts list. 87 wrangler peugeot/207. Just picked up t18/205(married, mid-lAte 70s was what I was told, haven't checked #s). Want to swap into my yj. As I researched, I'm needing a t150/176 bell housing, AA pilot bearing. As far as clutch setup I'm reading different things so I'm up in the air on that. Need a xmember for case, correct? And if anyone knows of issues with the long shift arm figment I'd appreciate any help. TIA
Nobody here's went from ba/10 to t18? Been searching 2 days, have general idea of what it's gonna take just looking for firsthand knowledge instead of reading posts 10+ yrs old. Looking for things like, how far will the 205 hang?, is the adapter to mate my 207 gonna be cheaper/better in long run for weight/space savings? Understand 207 gonna have lower crawl ratio, and 205 prob overkill for what I need but it was mated to t18 and what I got. Primary use will be moderate trail use and town vehicle, no dd. just looking to those w/ experience w/ this or similar swaps
T18's are mainly a CJ thing bolt it up to a Dana 20 or Scout 300 or a ford T18 to a AA Dana 300. but your front axle drive is on the wrong side.
