sye kit

i am putting an advanced adapters sye kit tooday on my 95 yj and just looking for some good threads or articles on putting one in to help with all the little details involved.

My video is for a TJ but it is probably close enough to help you walk through it: SYE Install Video.

Also, you should read 4x4xplor's writeup, which is mostly what I tried to follow in my install. Again, it is for a TJ but should still help a great deal.

on the yj i see i need to use the caged needle bearing fir the new shaft, can someone help me out with what that means exactly

I just put this in my 93 and it was my first as well. Nothing to it. Keep everything clean and follow the instructions and you should be fine. As for the needle bearings I think that I had to remove them for the YJ. I don't remember now but the instructions are very clear. Grab a 12-pack and have at it.
