swapping engines

I'm planning on swapping out my 2.5L engine for a 4.0L. I'm still a ways away from doing it, but I was wondering if anyone knew about how much money I could get selling my old engine. It runs fine, no issues and has just under 140, 000 miles on it. Any advice whatsoever on this topic would be greatly appreciated!

I assure you that whatever you may get for your old components will be the very least of your issues on this changeover. This is a major, major undertaking and depending on the year if your Jeep and the specifics of the donor vehicle, you could be in deeper doodoo than you may be up for. I've done it, it was a headache from the start. Consider trading your Jeep for exactly what you want, it will be a lot cheaper!
