Speedo gear part #?

I just put 31's on my 98 sport with 3.07 gears and I need to replace my speedo. I found a page on another website that had a chart with part #'s. I found what I thought was the right part # and went to a Jeep dealer for the part. They looked at my crazy! So, either the parts guy didn't know that much, wrong part #, or they just don't carry the part. Anybody know the part #? Would a parts house like Autozone have one? How far off would my speed be if I didn't change it? + or - .

That's because you need a 27 tooth speedo gear. Chrysler does not make one. The smallest one that fits your tj is a 28 tooth.
06 tj locked on 36's.
