Spark plug Change then missfire starts...HELP!

I just swapped plugs and now it is missfiring and a water mist is coming out of the exhaust. I am sure its the rail that sits on tip of the plugs. I took it off, checked everything, and reinstalled....same problem. Any one have a similar experience?

I am embarrassed , this is a easy thing to do. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

So this is strange, the gap on the new plugs (champions) looks smaller than the NGK. BUt the online NGK parts list say the ZFR5n has a gap of 0.028", but the jeep needs .035". I think the plugs are wrong, the new ones are supposed to be pregapped and 0.035".

Which champion plugs did you buy? If you bought Platinum plugs you need to make sure they are "double platinum" as the ignition in 2000 + TJ's require that both sides of the electrode be of the same material.

Always check the gap before you install. Water mist out of the exhaust concerns me...............................

Update

Took the plugs back....I have a bad plug in the bunch. They refuse to take them back. I put the old plugs in and it runs fine. I am not sure how to figure out which is bad. But the one thing I noticed, after putting the NGK back in, the ignition rail fit more snug than with the champions. The fit felt sloppy with the champions.

I learned the gap difference between the old and new is that overtime the gap will increase. My new plugs were gapped at 0.035". The old are at 0.055.I may try the truck plugs, but I am thinking on just getting another set of NGK ZFR5N's.
