someone please decide for me what rearend is my best option
fixing to get rid of the 35 and i dont know what i should do.here are my choices
1-i have a dana 60ff that is the correct width and gearing,if i go with this i plan on shaving it and converting it to 5 on 4.5 with disc brakes, can i do that?
2-i have several of the heavier 9 inchs but they are still under the vehicle and not sure if they will have to be narrowed and regeared or not(probably will) but it also would be converted to 5 on 4.5 with disc brakes.
3-i have 2 dana 44s that would have to be narrowed and probably regeared and bolt pattern also changed along with the disc brakes.
4-or go buy an 8.8 geared correctly with disc brakes already on it?
these are my option so what would yall do and why?i will be doing all the work myself except changing the bolt patterns and cost is a concern but my time isnt.yes i know i only have 33 inch tires and i dont do any rockcrawling but i want it built to last just incase i decide to ,so i want to do it right the first time.i will also be putting a locker in it.thanks
