snorkle or duel snorkles???

so ive been looking for a snorkle for my '94 zj and i just cant seem to find one for a good price so i was thinking ofmaking my own and mabe even makingit duel snorkles is there any thing i would need to knoe about the air flow or size pipe to ues? and also what size air filters wouldi buy for it if i was buying KnN? thanks for the help guys!

I would go with a single snorkel (if you really need one). Two would look silly. One will do the job just fine. If you make one, let us know how you make out.

oh man i think it would look sweet, give it 18 wheeler look ya know!i would use some crome or mabe powder coated exaust pipe or something like that. but would still like to get an idea of what im getting into, so porformance wise i want to get the air flow just right anyone know anything about that???

There is no performance gains with a snorkel, the only advantage is in heavy dust or deep water and you will never get that deep without major ignition upgrades.

duel exaust duel air in take

and not everything done to my jeep is just for performance sure my exaust gives me more power but it also sounds awsome and the lift and tires are for extreem offroading but putin the fear in the little rice burner is priceless so regaurdless of the added power to my engine i think it wood look origanal.

The little "hat" that attaches your air intake to the throttle body is very restrictive; a single snorkel setup might work marvels regarding air intake improvement.

If you go for two snorkel setup, be sure that one looks like a snorkel and the other one like a periscope ... if you dont want to be called a CHICKEN!

plus if i make the tip just right the speed from my driving would force air in like a ram air hood

thanks man i think that realy can help me out! but i got one more question im going to get rid of my box fillter for a nother batery and cold air in take is very expensive could i just put a cone air filter on the end of the snorkle or dose it have to be close to the throtle body?
