Seized pulleys????

I'm turning over my engine next weekend for the first time in a year and a half. I'm thinking that some of my pulleys may be seized. I tried manually turning some things last weekend, and everything seems pretty tight. Is it because the engine wasn't cranking or is it possible some of them seized. How can I loosen them up and ensure that everything turns freely. I would assume they're greased and I cant imagine PB or WD would be good for them.

TIA

Pull the plugs and squirt a little oil in the cylinders. Leave the plugs out and turn it over slowly while you squirt some more oil in it.
