sbf np435...t-case options

Planning to swap a 351w with np435 4spd trans into our 87 yj. Trying to figure outwhat to do for a t-case but really don't want to fork out almost $500 to adapt the 231j to it. Any good options without major costs? Prefer a fixed yoke. Dana 300 would need flipped and clocked and then shifter fab.

Unfortunately, adapters are spendy. All the stock t cases that came behind the 435 use the existing output shaft which will seriously lengthen the drivetrain.

Uggh... you were supposed to give me good news. Lmao.
Any recommended idea on a t-case since I am gonna have to shell out a bunch of money for an adapter...how well will the 231j hold up to the torque of a 351w. Mild motor but a lot more power than the original 4.2.

I believe the 231 was a popular swap in the V8 Grand Cherokee's. Might do some perusing in the ZJ forums and see what the consensus is.....
