Running rich

Hello I have a 1990 yj with a 4.2 I have a weber 32/36. Since I purchased the jeep it has seemed sluggish. It had all emission removed has a Msd ignition. I found some vacuum leaks and fixed all I could find. The floor when driving gets very hot possibly due to the cat getting hot due to rich mixture. I have checked timing numerous times. I cant find anything wrong. I am temped to scrap the weber in favor of a motorcraft or Holley if anyone has any ideas on possible fixes it would be greatly appreciated. I hate to see the weber go. Thanks
