really messed up vacuum system!!!!

Hey Jeepers, I bought a 88 wrangler that was really jimmy rigged together.I have gotten everything back to working order exept the vacuum system. I have a whole list of questions but i'll just start with a couple.Where does the vacuum line that ends up at the egr valve start(it is just laying there now, so i dont have any suction to the egr)!!! next. does the vacuum line that comes out of the throtle body go directly into the MAP sensor...would either one of these thing cause the motor to bearly run at an idle(like its choking itself out.THANKS IN ADVANCE to all you guys that share your knowledge with those of us that don't know d--k!!!!!

If you haven't already got the answer to this, here goes. There should be a sticker on the firewall or radiator support that shows all the vacuum diagram. If not there, get a Chiltons or Haynes manual. They have the vacuum diagrams in there too.
